NW Flyer alum, Jacob Wooten, advances thru the 1st round of the 2021 US Olympic trials in Eugene, OR

NW Flyers, Tomball Memorial HS, and TX A&M track alum and volunteer assistant coach, Jacob Wooten, began his competition for the pole vault on the US Olympic team. He had a fantastic first day on Saturday, June 19th by finishing 7th in the preliminary rounds. He vaulted to a season’s best performance of 18′ 6 1/2″. The pole vault final round is Monday, June 21st where only the top three get to represent the US at the Summer 2021 Tokyo Olympics. We wish Jacob the best of luck in the finals.
