Our 35th Anniversary Home Track Meet is being held on Saturday, May 28 at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU). We need 150-200 volunteers to run an efficient and successful meet and to receive a favorable rating from the USATF Gulf Association. There are volunteer opportunities for both morning and afternoon shifts.

Some volunteer FAQ’s
-Is there an age limit?- No, there are some jobs that middle school and teenagers can help with!
-Will someone be available to sign community service hours sheets for school organizations? Yes!
-What if I can’t stay the whole meet?- We will use what ever time you have to offer us.
-What do I wear?- Whatever you would wear to a meet, it will be hot, and I’m sorry there isn’t much we can do about the Texas heat.
-Do I still need to buy a ticket if I volunteer?- No, if you are a volunteer for a full time slot you will not need a ticket for the meet as you will be given a separate wrist band
-What if I don’t know anything about track?- That’s okay! We need people to help us keep the athletes hydrated, give water to officials, run the music, pass out bibs, feed our volunteers, even pick up trash. We can use you!
