THE NW FLYERS CELEBRATES OUR 30th ANNIVERSARY IN 2017!!!
The NW Flyers Track Club wrapped up the Spring/Summer 2017 Track & Field season on July 30 with a successful competiton at the US Junior Olympics National Championships at Kansas University. The team won 14 medals, 2 sprint relay medals, and 2 gold medals. In additon to setting a new national record earlier on the season. Our 30th anniversay season now continues with the beginning of the Fall 2017 Cross Country season.
The NW Flyers annual parent orientation and kickoff breakfast on February 4, 2017 had almost 400 people (athletes, parents, and coaches) in attendence! Fall Cross Country Kickoff Meeting - SAVE THE DATE (Sept 14)!
The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a member program of USA Track and Field (USATF), the national governing body for track & field and cross country. The club is in its 30th year in the northwest Houston area. We train and compete in the USATF Cross-Country (Fall), Indoor Track (Winter), and Outdoor Track & Field (Spring / Summer) seasons. Ages 6 - 18 may participate in the team, and both beginners and experienced runners are welcome.
Distance runners in middle / high school athletes should Contact Coach Angela Mosley at email@example.com , or (469) 336-9421, ASAP for more information. Email Coach Mosley to get on the email list and you will receive a free running training video.
The kickoff orientation program will cover the important information you need to join for this season. New and returning families should plan to attend this event. The program begins promptly at 7PM. Again, the "orientation session" is mandatory.
Your registration can then be completed online at the end of the orientation session.

1) Click the link below complete our secure online registration and payment form.
2) Complete the form, sign and then gather all requested documentation.
3) If you missed the parent orientation meeting print the "NWF Program Summary", then the athlete and parent must sign each page to demonstrate they have reviewed the same information as the rest of the team.
4) Turn in all requested documentation to the team registrar at the end of the registration event or at practice.
Olympic Gold Medalist to Speak at Northwest Flyers Registration Breakfast on February 4, 2017

The Northwest Flyers Track Club will host its annual free information / registration breakfast on February 4, 2017 for all boys and girls and their parents interested in joining for the 2017 spring/summer track season. The breakfast starts at 8:00AM at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center Forum located at 6823 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX, 77379. All athletes / parents must be seated by 8:30 AM in order to register.
The event will begin with a special presentation from an Olympic Gold Medalist.
At the breakfast, our guest speaker will provide athletes, coaches, and parents an inspiring message for sport and life.
The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a youth (age 6 -18) track organization, affiliated with USA Track & Field (USATF), that provides a full program of sanctioned “track” events such as sprints, hurdles, middle distance, distance, relays and sanctioned “field” events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, shot put and javelin. The Northwest Flyers has approximately 275 members, boys and girls. The club was founded 23 years ago by Olympic gold medalist Fred Newhouse to foster the development of youth track & field in the Northwest Houston area.
The Northwest Flyers is a member of the “Win With Integrity Champion” program, a partnership between USATF and the American College of Sports Medicine. “Win With Integrity” brings elite track & field athletes and school-aged kids together to promote healthy lifestyles, keeping active, and living with integrity through the sport of track & field.
